How do i know if my ferret ...?

has fleas? He is always scratching his body and chewing at his back and what not. He had a bald spot on his back of his neck (hes only one and its not adrenal...plus its already growing back) and there were little black dots all up and down. does it sound like fleas? His younger brother isn't itching...help =] thanks
