A multi-question about race for African Americans and other black or dark-skinned people?

You've certainly put a lot of thought into this. I don't really care either way, but at the same time, you might as well just read the text. It's someone else saying it, not him personally. Also, I do prefer to be called black. Terms like "african american" just make me feel like people are walking on eggshells around me.
