Are there any signs?

I am gay and out but I live in a very isolated little town and it took a VERY long time and endless toil to get the people in town to accept me. I know there must be other gay people in my town but they aren't coming out and I kind of understand why although I would like to think I have made it a little bit easier, I kind of thought one or two might approach me when I came out but so far no one has and it has been a while. I was wondering if there are any "international," gay signs for cruisins or places where all gays know to go to meet up. I am not even just looking to hook-up I just want to talk to other gay people in person as I so rarely have the opportunity.
